This policy explains what ToolKeeper collects and how that data is used.
Data collected
ToolKeeper collects the information needed to run the service, including account details, profile settings, and tool/subscription records you enter.
Account data
Account data may include your email address, name, authentication provider, timezone, preferred locale, and profile preferences.
Tool and subscription data
Tool records may include service names, costs, renewal dates, categories, account email, reminder settings, website URLs, and notes you provide.
Reminder and email data
ToolKeeper stores reminder preferences and reminder logs so emails can be sent and duplicate reminders can be avoided.
Analytics
ToolKeeper does not currently use separate third-party analytics. If this changes, this policy will be updated.
Payment data
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. ToolKeeper does not store full card details.
Data retention
We retain account and tool data while your account exists or as needed to operate the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain security.
Account deletion
Full account deletion is deferred and not currently implemented as a self-serve feature. Subscription records can be managed inside the app.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
User rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or request deletion of personal data. Available flows will expand as the product matures.
